Job Summary

Softrim is a leading Managed IT service provider. We have a national client base with offices in Atlanta, Raleigh, and Naples.

As a member of the Systems Engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and supporting diverse Microsoft 365 environments with a focus on Entra ID, cloud technologies, and enterprise IT infrastructure.

General Responsibilities
  • Engineering-level support of the Microsoft 365 technologies identified below
  • Implement and maintain best practices for Microsoft 365 environments
  • Perform security assessments, deploy security policies, monitor threats, and respond to incidents
  • Oversee proper access controls, permissions, and licensing
  • Work assigned tickets and projects
  • Evaluate new tools, technologies, and best practices
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions
  • Maintain technical documentation
  • Mentor and guide other team members

Requirements
  • B.S. in computer science or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in an engineering or similar role focused on Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect; Enterprise Administrator Expert; Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals; Azure Security Engineer Associate)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Ability to multi-task and still meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • MSP experience
  • Experience with other identity platforms (e.g., Okta) is a plus
  • Experience with scripting or automation tools including PowerShell
Employment Terms

Full-time, Exempt, Salary, In-Office. Eligible for benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability) and 401(k) after introductory period. Typical business hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a lunch break, Monday through Friday, excluding company-observed holidays. After-hours work may be required.
