Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and implement mainframe applications in support of hospitality operations.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and understand application requirements.
  • Perform system analysis and design to ensure optimal performance of mainframe applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mainframe applications and systems.
  • Maintain and upgrade existing software solutions to enhance performance and user experience.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for developed applications and systems.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Mainframe Developer with a strong background in COBOL, JCL, and DB2.
  • Hands-on experience with CICS and VSAM is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting mainframe applications.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
