We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud Senior Solutions Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate must have significant expertise in designing, implementing, and deploying B2B Commerce Cloud solutions, coupled with strong B2B business domain knowledge and a focus on enabling Agent Force capabilities. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical knowledge and proven success in delivering scalable, enterprise-grade commerce solutions that drive business growth in B2B environments.

QUALIFICATIONS
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $130,118 to $ 202,730. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential variable compensation programs. Our dedicated teams in Commerce, PIM (Product Information Management), OMS (Order Management), and content delivery simplify the complexity of Commerce so that every touchpoint delivers a unified and exceptional customer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of Salesforce B2B Commerce Cloud solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
- Leverage in-depth B2B business knowledge to tailor solutions that effectively address complex business processes and customer requirements.
- Drive the enablement and optimization of Agent Force functionality to empower sales teams and enhance customer engagement.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and UX/UI teams to translate requirements into scalable architecture and solution designs.
- Develop and enforce best practices, governance, and standards for Commerce Cloud implementations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and performance tuning to ensure robust, secure, and efficient solutions.
- Stay current with Salesforce Commerce Cloud product updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to continually improve solution offerings.
- Support pre-sales and RFP efforts by providing architectural insights and technical expertise.
- Facilitate workshops and technical sessions to educate and align cross-functional teams on solution capabilities and design decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in Salesforce Commerce Cloud architecture and development with a mandatory focus on B2B Commerce Cloud.
- Strong B2B business domain knowledge, including understanding of B2B sales cycles, quoting, contract management, pricing, and customer hierarchies.
- Proven track record of implementing Agent Force enablement and integration within Commerce Cloud environments.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, APIs, and integration patterns.
- Expertise in solution design, including data modeling, security, scalability, and performance optimization.
- Strong knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., JavaScript, React) and server-side development relevant to Commerce Cloud.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud certifications are highly desirable.
- Bachelors degree or commensurate experience.
Preferred Skills: - Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud integrations.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Background in cloud infrastructure, such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to risk management.
