Responsibilities and Qualification for Azure Cloud Solution Architect:

  • Design and Implement Azure Solutions: Architect scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services.
  • Cloud Migration Assessment: Guide customers in evaluating workloads, identifying migration paths, and optimizing cloud adoption strategies.
  • Security & Compliance: Establish governance frameworks, security policies, and access control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Enterprise-Scale Framework Expertise: Apply Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework best practices.
  • FinOps & Cost Management: Optimize cloud costs while balancing performance and operational needs through FinOps methodologies.
  • Networking & Identity Management:** Configure **Azure Networking (VNETs, NSGs, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers)** and manage Azure AD, RBAC, and IAM.
  • Container Services & Compute: Deploy and manage workloads via **Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Virtual Machines.
  • Data & AI Integration: Enable data-driven insights and AI-powered solutions using Azure Data Services and ML/AI capabilities.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with stakeholders, developers, and cloud engineers to drive innovation and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in **cloud architecture**, particularly within Microsoft Azure.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer, or equivalent.
  • Technical Expertise:** Hands-on experience with **Azure IaaS/PaaS/SaaS services, cloud security frameworks, FinOps best practices.
  • Soft Skills:** Strong problem-solving capabilities, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills.
