Summary

Role Overview

We are seeking highly experienced Data Engineers/Data Analysts with strong SQL, Python, and Fixed Income product knowledge. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience working with large datasets, collaborating with Business Users, and translating functional requirements into technical solutions that support trading, risk, and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements by actively collaborating with Front Office, Middle Office, and Product teams.
Perform data modeling, data analysis, data validation, and data profiling across multiple systems.
Develop scalable data pipelines and automation solutions using Python and SQL.
Create analytical datasets to support Front Office reporting, trade analytics, pricing, and risk management.
Understand Fixed Income data attributes such as bonds, MBS, ABS, rates, yield curves, duration, spreads etc.
Own data flow documentation, mapping rules, quality checks and data control frameworks.
Support ongoing data initiatives, enhancements, and production defect resolution.
Conduct impact analysis for changes to financial product data or downstream systems.
Work in Agile environment and contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and user story definitions.

Required Skills & Experience

10+ years of experience in Data Engineering/Data Analysis
Strong experience in SQL and at least one programming language (Python required)
Fixed Income experience is mandatory
Hands-on experience with complex data pipelines, ETL workflows, and data architecture
Expertise in datawarehouses, relational databases, and query optimization
Experience working closely with Business/Front Office stakeholders
Strong understanding of financial datasets and reference/master data
Excellent communication and requirement gathering skills

Nice to Have

Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Experience with BI tools like Power BI / Tableau
Understanding of data governance, lineage, and metadata processes
Familiarity with Market Risk, Pricing, and Performance analytics

Education

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field (Master s Preferred)
