This position is 100% remote

This is a 6 month contract-to-hire and needs to meet Client full-time conversion policies. Those dependent on a work permit sponsor now or anytime in the future (ie H1B, OPT, CPT, etc) do not meet Client requirements for this opening.

**MUST BE W2; No Corp-to-Corp**

Our financial services client is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to perform enhancements to existing CI/CD pipeline and to create 2 additional pipelines for automating the deployment API management self-service utilities.

The ideal candidate will have a deep expertise in Jenkins, Groovy Scripting, uDeploy, and PowerShell scripting. You will be responsible for analyzing the current pipeline design, make recommendations for improvements and to implement the recommendations.

Responsibilities:


Analyze existing pipeline used to build and deploy API products and create set of recommendations to align to best practices.
Work with internal team responsible for DevOps and ensure pipelines are implementing company standards.
Implement new pipelines to package and deploy code that performs API quality checks and allows for developer self-service API deployments in all environments.
Update observability data being sent to Splunk to assist with pipeline monitoring and troubleshooting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in designing and implementing pipelines using Jenkins and uDeploy.
Experience with Groovy scripting and functions used in Jenkins.
Experience with PowerShell scripting which is used in some stages of the pipeline.
Prior experience with IBM API Connect CLI would be useful, but not required.
