Job Overview

Come join the Customer Data Cloud (CDC) team under Intuit Identity organization as Mgr3 Development to revolutionize how developers build data powered customer experiences. Customer Data Cloud serves one of Intuit's big bets to revolutionize speed to benefit in the personalization space and powers multiple Intuit products such as TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma, and MailChimp. It has an ambitious goal to cut down the time it takes for developers at Intuit to build applications from multiple weeks to just < 1 day by tapping into the power of data and by leveraging AI/ML technologies including Generative AI. In this role, you will lead a high-performing team that operates with a startup mindset to build platform capabilities that makes discovering and integrating with data an absolute breeze. You will build paved roads that will be adopted by all developers at Intuit and will get to witness the fruits of your labor as delightful experiences get delivered to end customers across all of Intuit's products at high velocity. Qualifications

  • Deeply passionate about data and data driven customer experiences
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, product managers, customers, and senior leaders
  • Ability to guide and influence your team on the solution design and architecture
  • 5+ years of experience in leading large-scale data engineering efforts across development and operations
  • 5+ years of experience in directly managing 10 or more engineers
  • Extensive experience operating services out of cloud such as AWS or Google Cloud
  • Experience managing multiple scrum teams and driving hard prioritization calls in a decisive, data-driven manner
  • Experience building tooling and automation for platform customers
  • Experience with modern big data and real-time streaming technologies like Flink and Spark
  • Experience building solutions for internal customers such as developers, data workers, and product teams


Responsibilities

  • Build paved roads for Intuit at scale to help developers discover and integrate with Data
  • Build friction-less experiences to enable onboarding, publishing, consuming, discovering, and accessing of data at scale
  • Understand and assure data quality to enable products to make high-stakes personalization decisions
  • Operate with a platform mindset and create durable capabilities that will be leveraged by all developers at Intuit
  • Foster high engagement with your teams and instill a culture of ownership and accountability while personally role-modeling these traits
  • Partner with x-functional team members such as architects, product managers, and data workers to develop and deliver new capabilities in production
  • Be a part of the leadership think-tank and contribute to the overall platform strategy with fresh and creative perspectives
