Job title: Tech Procurement Analyst
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Location of work: Santa Monica, California 90404

Responsible to: Tech Procurement Supervisor
Department: End User Services


Job Details:
  • Tech Procurement Analyst duties to include stock holding; enable effective and efficient provisioning of IT equipment to UMG users.

The B Side: Skills & Experience
  • Maintain Procurement Store security
  • Maintaining stock levels
  • Monitoring and tracking hardware orders
  • Validation, allocation, and shipping of goods to local Tech Support
  • Receiving good, asset tagging, scanning and tracking
  • Obtaining accurate quotations, handling paperwork associate with purchases e.g. Invoices, P.O's etc.
  • IT inventory, Asset Management and Reporting
Be Collaborative
  • Liaise with internal customers regarding order fulfilment and purchase queries
  • Work closely with Finance on reporting
  • Attend regular meetings with Procurement Teams in UK
Supplier Liaison:
  • Building relationships
  • Replenishing stock
  • Non- standard quotations and ordering
Person Specification
  • Candidates must be well organised, have good interpersonal skills, be able to work under pressure under their own initiative and be committed to providing excellent customer service.
  • Candidates must have a pro-active approach to their work and prioritise effectively, be highly motivated team players and have a good attention to detail.
Necessary
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel & Office (or similar)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Good understanding of IT Hardware
  • Previous experience of IT Procurement or IT Buying Desk environment
  • Prior experience of working in an IT environment
ServiceNow experience
  • IT related qualifications obtained through further education
  • Experience working in a media company
  • Knowledge of reporting
  • Experience of P2P
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Previous experience of working in a large global company
  • Understanding of Procurement or Buying Desk environment
