Job Description:
As a Financial Business Analyst at Achieve, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Business Unit Finance Managers. You will immerse yourself in daily business operations, assist in financial planning, and analyze KPI trends. Your expertise will allow you to craft detailed reports that provide actionable insights and drive business outcomes, ensuring transparency and enhancing decision-making for senior leadership. Your contributions will be vital in implementing business strategies effectively and aligning them with Achieve's operational goals and strategic vision. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys detailed financial analysis, solving complex problems, and synthesizing data into actionable insights.
What You'll Do:

  • Support Business Unit Finance Managers in forecasting and annual planning
  • Develop and refine financial models that tie user-level metrics to P&L outcomes
  • Monitor and analyze financial data and KPIs, to identify risks and opportunities for the business
  • Provide detailed reports and actionable insights to senior leadership
  • Collaborate across functions to develop long-range financial plans, ensuring alignment with Achieve's strategic goals

Qualifications
What You'll Bring:

  • 3 years of experience in Investment Banking, Consulting, FP&A, or a similar function; experience in the Lending space is a plus
  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong foundational skills in financial modeling and analysis
  • Experience supporting project management work streams
  • Background in Finance, Business Operations, or a related field
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability to quickly respond to changing business needs and complex environments
  • Critical thinking and ability to investigate financial models and offer thoughtful insights/improvements
