Maintenance Technician - NIGHT
We're a modern wholesale bakery built from the ground up to bring fresh thinking to frozen baked goods. From cookies and muffins to flatbreads and bread dough, we supply foodservice and in-store bakeries with high-quality, ready-to-bake or fully baked products. Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the efficient operation of our food manufacturing facility, specifically within the bakery sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment in the bakery area.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in the workplace.
- Collaborate with production staff to minimize operational disruptions during maintenance activities.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a food manufacturing or bakery environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, HVAC, and plumbing.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends as required.
