Job Summary

As a Security Systems Technician, you will play a key role in pre-wiring and installing comprehensive security solutions, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion alarm systems. You'll collaborate closely with fellow technicians and project managers to ensure successful project execution across a diverse range of commercial installations-from hospitals and airports to high-rise office spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain security systems at client sites
  • Work with a wide range of equipment:
    • IP and analog video surveillance systems
    • Wireless technologies
    • Access control panels
    • Intrusion detection systems
    • Magnetic locks, electric door strikes, motion sensors, card readers, and more
  • Provide end-user training and system demonstrations
  • Maintain accurate daily documentation, reports, and operational checklists
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and budget
  • Coordinate effectively with project managers and field technicians

? Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience with commercial security system installations
  • Strong understanding of networking, cabling, and electronic hardware
  • Excellent attention to detail and adherence to best practices
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams is a plus
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
