Job Details

Seeking an experienced Information Architect to support North America's Scientific Data initiatives. The role involves working on data acquisition, modeling, governance, and quality for scientific and R&D datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design logical and physical data models, ER diagrams, data dictionaries

  • Perform data profiling, cleansing, auditing, and define data quality metrics

  • Manage master and reference data (MDM), hierarchies, affiliations

  • Collaborate with business and data quality teams to ensure clean, usable data

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns and trends

  • Support DevOps and Agile teams with data-centric architecture

  • Handle scientific and lab-based data

Required Skills:

  • Strong in data modeling, data governance, and quality control

  • Proficient in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau), ETL, and data manipulation

  • Coding in Python, VBA, XML

  • Experience in scientific data environments (Pharma, Biotech, R&D)

  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with metadata management, taxonomy, and DevOps practices

  • Leadership or coordination experience in data projects
