Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. seeks a Director, Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer in Alpharetta, Georgia
Deploy large scale clustered data federation solutions and develop self-service tooling to manage clusters. Integrate vendor software applications with internal business data infrastructure, emphasizing automation and devops. Troubleshoot and help software development teams with best practices and on-boarding, monitoring, optimizing and tuning of implementations. Perform proof-of-concept tests of new technology solutions to help drive the firm's data federation strategy. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.
Salary:
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $149,800 and $149,800 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Module Lead, Lead Software Engineer, or a related role. Requires five (5) years of experience with: building RESTful APIs; development and deployment using agile or devops practices; GIT; Jira; Bitbucket; software developing using either Java or Python on Linux; Singlestore; data virtualization, data reporting or data integration including ETL/ELT. Requires one (1) year of experience with: MSSQL.
