TITLE OF POSITION: Information Technology Administrator

PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: 12 Months

FULL TIME OR PART TIME: Full Time (40 hours per week) - Contract

REFERENCES: 3 references

INTERVIEW: In-Person (As per the Client Discretion)

PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: On-site Houston, Texas

MANDATORY EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years of experience performing Information Technology administration, support, and management functions.

  • Experience supporting computer systems, networks, telecommunications, and IT security in a government, law enforcement, or regulated environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience (Required a Copy of Certificate)

  • Demonstrated experience maintaining network security, system controls, and data integrity.

  • Experience coordinating procurement, installation, and maintenance of IT hardware and software.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supporting federal, state, or local law enforcement agencies.

  • Familiarity with CJIS-compliant or similarly secure IT environments.

  • Experience working with multi-agency or grant-funded programs.

  • Strong documentation, communication, and vendor management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish strategic, operational, short-term, and long-term IT plans, priorities, and procedures.

  • Maintain and improve computer, network, and telecommunications system security.

  • Ensure maintenance of service standards and system availability.

  • Provide daily operational support and technical assistance.

  • Coordinate purchase and support of IT hardware and software.

  • Manage IT vendor contracts and maintenance services.

  • Prepare invoices, purchase orders, and IT documentation.

  • Maintain inventories of IT assets.

  • Support integration with federal, state, and local law enforcement systems.
