8+ years of experience of development experience within Google Cloud Platform (not just monitoring or DevOps)

3.) Candidates need to have Google Cloud Platform development experience in BigQuery
4.) Candidates need to be independent and able to define their own work that needs to be completed

Job Description

looking for a Lead Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer that can support their Rebates 2.0 team. The Rebates 2.0 is responsible for providing data to the Prime Rebates application. The goal of the Rebates application is to provide real-time invoicing, billing, and calculating rebates to their clients.

Design and development to ensure the technology solutions meet all resiliency, stability, non-functional, functional and operational readiness use cases

Technical Skillset
Experience working with large data models and data architecture principles.
Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform services such as Cloud Storage, BigQuery, CloudSQL, Dataflow, Airflow and others.
Strong programming skills in languages used in cloud development such as Python, Java, SQL, etc.
Understanding of cloud computing principals, including infrastructure as a service(IaaS), Platform as a Service(PaaS), and Software as a Service(SaaS).
Experience working with Google Cloud SDK and APIs to interact with Google Cloud Platform services programmatically and automate tasks.
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for deploying and managing containerized applications on Google Cloud Platform.
Understanding of serverless computing concepts and experience developing serverless applications using Google Cloud Platform services like Cloud Functions and Cloud Run.
Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub to automate software deployment on Google Cloud Platform.
Proficiency in development tools and IDEs such as Google Cloud Shell, Cloud Code for Visual Studio Code or Cloud Tools for IntelliJ.
