Role: Product Manager

Location: Remote

Duration: Fulltime

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the product roadmap for fraud detection, prevention, and mitigation across multiple payment channels.
  • Collaborate with data science, engineering, risk, and compliance teams to define and deliver fraud detection capabilities using machine learning, rule engines, and behavioral analytics.
  • Translate complex fraud scenarios into product requirements, use cases, and detailed user stories.
  • Monitor and analyze fraud trends, attack vectors, and emerging threats to proactively enhance platform capabilities.
  • Partner with external vendors or third-party data providers as needed to strengthen detection mechanisms (e.g., device fingerprinting, behavioral biometrics, consortium data).
  • Work with UX and Ops teams to optimize false positives, reduce friction, and enhance the customer experience.
  • Define and track KPIs such as fraud rate, false positive rate, transaction approval rate, and latency.
  • Ensure product compliance with relevant regulations).

Required Qualifications:

  • 8 + years of product management experience, with at least 2+ years in fraud detection, risk platforms, or trust & safety within the financial services or payments industry.
  • Strong understanding of fraud typologies (e.g., identity theft, account takeover, synthetic identity, transaction fraud).
  • Experience working with real-time decision engines, machine learning models, and rule-based systems.
  • Familiarity with payment processing systems (card payments, ACH, RTP, wallets, etc.).
  • Proven ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams and deliver complex products in a high-stakes environment.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis tools (SQL, Excel, dashboards).
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage stakeholders from technical and non-technical backgrounds.
