Vega is hiring a Change Management Consultant for our direct client in Reston VA. This is a right to hire position.
Responsible for supporting corporate and client initiatives by incorporating the principles and practices of strategy and organizational change management as well as thought leadership to integrate organizational change management approaches. Works to enhance the overall capacity of the client and/or stakeholders mission and outcomes by delivering training on organizational change theories, tools, and techniques and serving as a coach to PMs, product owners, task and technical leads, and other change practitioners. Plays a role in stakeholder transformation as we work to shift mindsets and behaviors. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
30% Partner to support process enhancements and key program interventions as required. Lead and guide project teams in the effort to transform, develop and implement initiatives design to support people, business and technology change impact ensuring effective adoption. Develops, delivers, and coordinates organizational change management work, including stakeholder management, sponsorship, communications, training, change impact analysis, change readiness assessments, change leadership, organizational design/effectiveness, business transformation, and culture. 20% Provide strategy and change management thought leadership support to executives, sponsors, clients and/or business owners. Support integration of Organizational Change Management into initiative approaches and methodologies. 20% Engage with partners in Training, Communications, Content Management to improve our change impact, communications, collaboration and adoption of change initiatives. 15% Lead the annual Strategy Development process and thoroughly understand their client group's strategic priorities, the business imperatives, and customers business. 15% Provide guidance and coaching to project team members of varying levels and disciplines on change management best practices. Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Education Details: Business, Management, Project Management, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Leadership, Communications or related field Experience: 5 years experience in a change management role. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
