Location: San Francisco, CA - 94103
5 days Onsite, travel only with the San Francisco area
The candidate will:
- Execute software front-ends (GUI or command line) in a field warehouse setting
- Troubleshoot software execution issues in real-time
- Collaborate with a broader software engineering team on issue diagnosis or potential improvements
- Manage the quality of execution in real time
- Deploy arrays of sensors into industrial warehouse settings
The candidate should have:
- 4+ YoE
- Willingness to travel to field sites
- Ability to unpack, assemble, disassemble, and transport technical equipment
- Experience with Linux / Bash / Zsh
- Strong documentation skills
Bonus points for:
- Familiarity with any of the following ecosystems: Optitrack, ManStretchSense/Rokoko, AR/VR headsets, Zed cameras
- Basic Python scripting ability
- Experience with AWS CLI and basic cloud services
- Experience with hardware communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART)
- Experience deploying sensor arrays or IoT devices
- Experience with industrial automation or warehouse systems
- Experience with real-time monitoring tools
- Experience with remote system administration
- Experience writing technical documentation or deployment guides
