Job Title: Lead Salesforce Developer

Location: Plano, TX

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Lead to provide technical leadership, oversee solution delivery, and ensure successful Salesforce implementations. This role involves guiding teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and delivering scalable, secure, and efficient Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end Salesforce solution lifecycle requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Translate business requirements into robust Salesforce solutions using best practices.
  • Guide and mentor Salesforce developers, admins, and analysts.
  • Oversee Salesforce configurations, customizations, and third-party integrations.
  • Manage Apex classes, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and SOQL/SOSL queries.
  • Define and maintain Salesforce roadmap and release strategies in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce coding standards, security policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Conduct design/code reviews and provide technical direction to the team.
  • Keep up to date with Salesforce releases and AppExchange solutions to recommend continuous improvements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years on the Salesforce platform.
  • Expertise in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Hands-on development with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), APIs (REST/SOAP).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Data Model, Security Model, and Governor Limits.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps tools (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

Preferred Salesforce Certifications

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator
  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I & II
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect
  • Salesforce Certified System Architect
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) (highly desirable)
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant / Service Cloud Consultant (a plus)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or MuleSoft.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce.
  • Prior experience managing onshore/offshore delivery teams.
