Job Description:
Apex Systems is partnering with our specialty chemical client to hire a Product Compliance Analyst in Glen Allen, VA!

Duration: 6 month contract
Location: Onsite - Glen Allen, VA


GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The primary role of the Product Compliance Analyst is to perform compliance related administrative and technical tasks including updating compliance reports and listings, maintaining product compliance database, maintaining product certificates, and assembly of product technical files.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Communicate product compliance requirements to internal and external customers
  • Execute and maintain tank state registrations
  • Process customer compliance requests for existing product line and new product offerings
  • Manage the review and approval process for Neat Delivery
  • Compile Neat Delivery & Storage Tank information
  • Complete and file all required regulatory reports, applications and notifications.
  • Author and publish required hazard communication documents for the United States and select international locations
  • Maintain company trade secrets and confidential business information
SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and share best practices with team
  • Understand and adapt to change in processes and procedures.
  • Ability to understand lean manufacturing metrics as they relate to daily performance measures.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of BA/BS degree in Physical Science, Chemistry, Engineering or related field.
  • 1-3 years of business and/or customer focused communication experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of the requirements for chemical hazard communication (OSHA, Safety Data Sheets).
