Job Details

Please note that this is a 6 month contract position.

Science/ Engineering Degree is required.

25% travel required (this will vary from week-to-week depending upon specific projects, but this is a general average). Can work remote if they are in the Seattle, WA area.

Main focus on deploying company gears, commissioning sites, managing finances of project. 

Must Haves:
- Vendor management
- Someone who loves working with customers, will be on call daily
- 5-8 years experience in the wireless industry

Nice to Haves:
- Engineering degree, wireless, knowledge of RF
- Not required, but some understanding of DAS and small cells is extremely helpful
- PMP certification

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Project Manager will take the lead in the execution of DAS and small cell system projects and proposals. Assignments will vary greatly in size and scope from multi-million-dollar neutral host networks to small, single operator DAS networks. Job responsibilities include overseeing the development of engineering proposals with detailed RF design solutions, project budgets, project schedules, material/subcontractor selections, and the direction of all technical aspects for assigned projects. Individual shall be held accountable for related financial, schedule and quality goals of each project.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Oversee the designing of in-building and repeater systems. Specific responsibilities include: Interfacing with sales and customer representatives to determine coverage requirements and customer needs. Developing project requirements, including statements of work and subcontractor contracts. Drafting customer proposals describing recommended coverage solutions, including lists of materials and services. Performance will be measured based on compliance to established performance specifications, including accuracy of bill of materials and installation costs, and overall presentation of proposals.

Acting as on-site Project Manager, when required, for specific projects assigned. Specific details include: Creating and following project schedules. Interfacing with customers and installation crews as needed to successfully complete the project. Submitting/tracking materials and equipment required for installation. Creating and following through change orders for customers as appropriate. Performance will be measured based on compliance to established performance specifications, engineering schedules, and cost-of-goods sold standards.

Overseeing Installation and commissioning of new systems. Detailed tasks include: Overseeing and managing installation subcontractors. Working with the technical support staff to address and solve problems to customer s satisfaction. Performance will be measured based on the feedback from the technical support staff and the number/type of requests for assistance.

Participating as an active team member of the DAS and Small Cell division. Specific responsibilities include: Working with other team members as needed to complete proposals and projects accurately and efficiently. Cooperating with regional sales representatives to address customer concerns in a timely manner. Promoting products and services to potential customers. Performance will be measured based on their contributions to these initiatives and the overall performance of the project organization.
