Description
We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our team in Greater Cleveland, Ohio. In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems, including servers, networks, and user devices. The ideal candidate will excel at troubleshooting, technical planning, and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Microsoft Windows servers, client operating systems, and related hardware such as desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Oversee the administration and optimization of Active Directory, VMware environments, and Microsoft Entra ID.
Provide support for Microsoft Office 365 applications, including OneDrive and SharePoint, to ensure seamless user functionality.
Monitor and troubleshoot network performance to maintain high availability and security.
Lead technical planning and project management activities to support IT initiatives.
Collaborate with users to diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring effective communication with individuals of varying technical backgrounds.
Develop and implement system policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Conduct presentations and training sessions to improve user understanding of IT systems and tools.
Travel independently as needed to provide on-site support and manage remote systems.
Utilize general office equipment and software to complete administrative tasks effectively.
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in IT system administration, including expertise with Microsoft Windows Server and client operating systems.
Proficiency in managing Active Directory, VMware, and Microsoft Entra ID environments.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365 tools, including OneDrive and SharePoint.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges.
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users.
Demonstrated ability to independently manage tasks, travel when required, and deliver solutions.
Familiarity with network hardware and troubleshooting methodologies.
Experience in technical planning and project management.
