The Strategic Sourcing Manager will develop, drive and execute to the product category with Reality Lab at Client. We are looking for individuals who desire to be on the ground floor of a breakthrough technology and help build a world class supply chain. This strategic sourcing manager will work closely with Hardware Engineering, Technical Program Management, Finance and Technical Operations during the product development cycle from prototype to mass production to ensure successful product launch. The person will lead sourcing activities related to new technologies and innovative manufacturing processes to realize design intent while optimizing quality versus cost, driving sustainability and championing continuous improvement throughout the lifecycle of products.

CM Ops Manager Responsibilities:

* Drive early supplier engagement in New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Technology Introduction (NTI) programs
* Establish supplier selection criteria, evaluate suppliers, manage the supplier selection process, and drive final supplier selection in partnership with hardware engineering, manufacturing design engineering, and supplier quality team
* Negotiate master agreements and SOW with suppliers to establish best-in-class pricing, flexibility, quality, delivery, payment, warranty and service terms
* Lead design and cost trade-off conversation during development stages to influence production design and manufacturing processes for the best decision of the product
* Develop and implement supplier performance measurement system and conduct periodic supplier business reviews with the management and cross functional team
* Influence the direction of suppliers' business investments and roadmaps to align with Client strategic goals for mechanical technology development
* Lead total cost reduction program to achieve the lowest possible total cost which covers product cost, transportation cost, inventory cost and cost of quality
* Utilizes should-cost models to inform negotiation strategies, identify cost reduction opportunities, and optimize supplier pricing
* Collaborate with cross functional teams within Client and supply base to drive product and process improvements
* Builds relationships with peers and stakeholders on organization-wide initiatives, obtaining alignment on objectives and articulating strategy, with a focus on driving growth and innovation in mechanical categories
* Proactively identifies new opportunities outside of their functional area and leads cross-functional organizational initiatives to drive innovation and growth in mechanical categories
* Manage supplier scorecards and SOW contracts
