Job Title: SAP FICO Architect.
Work Location: Buffalo, NY (Work from client office 2 times in a month. Would be more during critical phases like cutover, hypercare support)
Duration: 6-12 Months
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Finance (FICO) Consultant /Architect to join our team working on a transformation engagement.
In this role, you will leverage your extensive consulting experience to design, implement, and optimize complex SAP solutions that align with our clients business objectives. You will play a critical role in guiding our SAP transformation initiatives and ensuring SAP system is robust, scalable, and secure.
Responsibilities
- You will lead the architectural design and implementation of SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business needs, translating them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including solution designs, technical specifications, and integration points.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SAP systems to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- You will be managing the stakeholders in meeting the project deliverables on time.
Mandatory skills:
Accounts Payable, Treasury/ Banking particularly with relevance to SAP Multi-Bank Connectivity (MBC).
Expected Skillset
Required:
- You should have a deep understanding of SAP sub modules SAP Accounts Payable and Treasury /Cash Management particularly in SAP Multi-Banking Connectivity solution.
- Proven experience in leading at least two greenfield SAP implementations, having worked in multi-year engagements and interim state challenges.
- Strong expertise in integration methodologies
- 10+ years of prior experience in SAP architecture working with relevant IT & business stakeholders in Finance function in the USA.
- Experience working in Big 4 firms (+ large ones like Infosys, TCS etc.) is desirable.
- Managed at least 10+ resources both onsite & remotely.
- Excellent stakeholder management and business "convincing" capabilities
- Stay current with hands on capabilities in emerging SAP technologies, trends, best practices and providing thought leadership to the organization.
Technical Skills
- In-depth knowledge of SAP finance function particularly in Accounts Payable and Treasury/Cash management
- Prior Exposure in setting up multiple banking interfaces through SAP Multi-Banking Connectivity (MBC) solution.
- Proficiency in SAP integration tools and methodologies
- Bank communication DMAT etc.
- Third party integration like Chrome River, Tungston, ADP etc.
- Intercompany operations and reconciliation
- Open item management and new functionalities in SAP S/4HANA Financials
