Description
We are looking for a dedicated Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Prince George, Virginia. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment by providing technical solutions and ensuring seamless desktop operations. Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for desktop hardware, software, and peripheral devices, ensuring optimal functionality.
Administer and troubleshoot Active Directory accounts, including user permissions and group policies.
Perform imaging and deployment of workstations while maintaining compliance with company standards.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to Microsoft Windows 10 and other desktop operating systems.
Collaborate with team members to identify and implement improvements in IT processes and support.
Maintain accurate documentation of technical procedures, configurations, and support activities.
Assist in the setup and installation of new desktop equipment and related hardware.
Respond promptly to user requests and technical issues, delivering solutions in a timely manner.
Ensure adherence to security protocols and company policies during all support activities.
Provide guidance to end-users on best practices for utilizing desktop systems and software.
Requirements
Proven experience in desktop support within a manufacturing or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of PC hardware, software, and workstation setups.
Proficiency in Active Directory administration and troubleshooting.
Expertise in Microsoft Windows 10, including configuration and issue resolution.
Familiarity with desktop imaging techniques and deployment processes.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
