Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Instructional Designer to develop engaging and effective training materials for various audiences. This is a long-term contract position where you will collaborate with teams to design, implement, and improve learning solutions while adhering to established quality and budget standards. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to impact learning outcomes on a broad scale.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop training programs, including instructor-led and web-based courses, to meet organizational needs.
Create detailed storyboards and other instructional materials to enhance the learning experience.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training content aligns with objectives.
Utilize tools such as Camtasia, Snagit, and Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality training content.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Provide technical writing support to develop clear and concise training documentation.
Maintain and organize training resources within platforms like SharePoint.
Identify and address potential risks or challenges in training development projects.
Offer guidance and coaching to team members to promote continuous improvement.
Contribute to process optimization and quality enhancement efforts within the instructional design workflow.
Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in instructional design or training content development.
Proficiency in Office Suite, SharePoint, Snagit, Camtasia, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Demonstrated ability to create web-based and instructor-led training materials.
Strong technical writing skills with a focus on clarity and precision.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with diverse teams.
Experience with SharePoint for maintaining and organizing learning resources.
Adobe certification is preferred, but not required.
