Job Title -Interoperability Consultant

Job Description: Interoperability Consultant

The following are standard responsibilities of an Interoperability Consultant at Anthem.

  1. Collaborate with Provider organizations and downstream ancillary system analysts to understand and develop business and functional interface requirements
  2. Deliver to Provider and receive returned Anthem configuration documents
  3. Submit all applicable connectivity tickets between Provider and Anthem via SNOW
  4. Utilize available tools to analyze Provider data and provide a gap analysis to Provider to further translate business requirements into functional field level specification requirements
  5. Provide project management staff with status reports regarding assigned projects
  6. Collaborate with developer assigned to project to ensure understanding of specifications and ensure deliverables accurate and correctly specified
  7. Identify any outlier testing scenarios and write test plans for quality assurance
  8. Participate with developer on interface validation prior to delivery to downstream systems
  9. Remediate any issues identified by downstream systems and analysts prior to activation
  10. Assure compliance with all testing, documentation, and change management requirements
  11. Monitor post-live interface until transition to support
  12. Participate in team activities as required to develop/modify/enhance standard specifications, processes, or training procedures.

Work Experience:

Minimum: 5 years relevant experience in understanding and identifying conformance issues in HL7 CDA and FHIR standard messages and working with interface engine output.

Relevant Hands on - experience working with CCDA documents & FHIR JSON files.
