Senior Oracle Utilities Upgrade Consultant - 66777
Pay Rate: $55- $60/hr
We have an immediate opportunity for a Senior Oracle Utilities Upgrade Consultant to lead the onsite migration of Oracle Utilities Analytics from version 2.6 to 25.10. This position requires deep hands-on upgrade, integration, and optimization expertise, ensuring technical accuracy, data integrity, and seamless alignment with complex utility billing and analytics workflows. The consultant will play a key role in guiding upgrade strategies, validating end-to-end processes, resolving data and performance gaps, and ensuring compliance within regulated utility environments.
To be successful in this position, one needs to be highly experienced with Oracle Utilities (Analytics, CCB, MDM, and Billing Cloud Service), prior upgrade and migration cycles, and database/middleware technologies including Oracle SQL/PL-SQL and WebLogic. Experience with tuning, disaster recovery, and hybrid/OCI environments is essential, along with strong grounding in IAM, networking, security, and automation. The role also demands strong ETL and large-scale data validation skills, including reconciliation expertise. A solid understanding of utility billing, customer care, meter data, and reporting needs is critical for ensuring functional alignment across stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications include Oracle Utilities or OCI certifications, proven experience in scaling, high availability, and resilience patterns, as well as familiarity with regulatory frameworks in energy/water utilities. The consultant must demonstrate strong communication skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to proactively manage risks and dependencies throughout the upgrade lifecycle.
