Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Translate user stories into objective evaluation criteria (accuracy, accessibility, cost, data residency).
  • Run POCs and bake-offs; perform risk assessments; document findings for procurement.
  • Design secure, scalable reference architectures that connect vendor APIs, LMS, SIS, IdP, and data lakes.
  • Specify SSO, SCIM/LTI, and webhook patterns to ensure end-to-end traceability.
  • Stand up tenants or SaaS instances; configure roles, data-retention, and content filters.
  • Establish SLIs/SLOs, logging, and alerting; negotiate and track vendor SLAs.
  • Partner with Information Security to complete DPIAs, negotiate DPAs, and pass annual audits.
  • Maintain model-risk documentation, change logs, and end-user disclosures.
  • Own tier-2 escalation, root-cause analysis, and vendor ticketing.
  • Track roadmap changes from vendors; plan version upgrades and feature roll-outs.
