Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. In this long-term contract position, you will provide comprehensive technical support to end-users across office and manufacturing environments. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize IT systems while contributing to operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on and remote technical support for desktops, laptops, network systems, telecom equipment, video conferencing tools, VoIP systems, and mobility devices.
Install, configure, and maintain personal computer hardware and software to ensure optimal functionality.
Manage IT incident queues, effectively resolving Level I and Level II technical issues.
Identify, evaluate, and validate new hardware and software solutions to improve cost-efficiency and operational performance.
Utilize System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to install, configure, monitor, support, and optimize IT systems.
Maintain and support Windows Active Directory domains, including user logins, permissions, Group Policies, and network printing in compliance with corporate policies.
Develop and update documentation for the company's Knowledge Base, ensuring clear communication for both end-users and IT staff.
Perform on-site and remote desktop support services to address end-user needs.
Collaborate with the Field Operations Team and provide work direction as needed.
Ensure the security and availability of IT systems while adhering to organizational policies.
Requirements
Minimum of four years of experience in IT operations and customer support.
Strong expertise in desktop, laptop, and mobility hardware troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
Proficiency in managing Active Directory, including Organizational Units and Group Policies.
Operational knowledge of System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
Familiarity with networking principles and IT infrastructure.
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals across departments.
Proven experience in root cause analysis and implementing solutions to mitigate recurring issues.
Strong documentation skills for creating and maintaining technical resources.
