Job Details

Please note that this is a 1-year contract.

Requirements:
- This role will be onsite 100% of the time
- Must have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Biology, or similar - This is a "full automation lab", must be familiar with full automation labs
- Need to have Tecan equipment experience
- Understanding of analytical assays (Peptide Mapping, CE-SDS)
- Will be preparing agents and putting samples on deck, setting up for HPLC, analyzing data after
- Must have least 1 year of experience
- Must have previous experience working with robots, highly preferred
Qualifications
Education:

Bachelor s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or related discipline is required.
1+ year of experience is preferred.

Experience and Skills:
Required:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent interpersonal skills (written and oral) and the ability to work in a cross-functional customer-focused environment is required.

Preferred:
Knowledge and working experience on proteins or therapeutic cell and gene therapy projects is preferred.
Experience with BIOVIA, CISPro, and data review is preferred
Experience in equipment troubleshooting and routine instrument maintenance is preferred.
Experience with automated equipment and software is preferred (Tecan Fluent Control, Biosero Green Button Go ).
Experience with liquid chromatography or capillary electrophoresis is preferred.

Job Description
We are hiring a scientist to support the Separations & Characterization Workcell in Malvern, PA. This Workcell is part of a fully automated laboratory that supports non-GXP process and formulation development. The candidate will be responsible for supporting the execution of analytical assays such as Peptide Mapping, CE-SDS, cIEF, and SE-HPLC. The candidate will also be responsible for instrument maintenance, mobile phase and reagent preparation, and data analysis.
