Description
We are looking for a dedicated Systems Administrator to join our IT team. This role requires expertise in managing enterprise systems across various platforms, including Windows, Linux, and cloud environments, with a focus on automation and identity management. Ideal candidates will have a background in structured and regulated environments and a strong commitment to ensuring system security and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain enterprise systems across Windows, Linux, and cloud-based platforms to ensure optimal performance.
Manage Active Directory configurations, including Group Policy and identity management solutions.
Develop automation scripts using PowerShell to streamline administrative tasks and enhance system efficiency.
Implement and support multi-factor authentication tools such as Duo and Okta.
Configure and maintain Single Sign-On integrations, with a focus on Okta solutions.
Monitor system health using advanced application and system monitoring tools.
Enforce security policies, including patch management and access control, to maintain compliance standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT initiatives and projects effectively.
Create and update documentation for systems, processes, and procedures to ensure clarity and consistency
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration within structured, regulated environments such as military, federal, or financial sectors.
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation techniques.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory and identity/access management solutions.
Hands-on experience with Okta and Duo, including configuration and deployment.
Familiarity with system monitoring tools to track performance and availability.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address system issues effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on documentation.
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, or Okta are preferred.
