Description: Our client is currently seeking a Engineer-Transport - IV
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Engineer to support the expansion of Client's 4G, 5G, and CBand networks. This role provides end-to-end technical oversight for equipment configurations, IP assignments, and transport design. The engineer will work with Samsung and Nokia platforms, leveraging vendor tools like Nokia Service Portal to generate configuration files and support network activations.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Engineer to support the expansion of Client's 4G, 5G, and CBand networks. This role provides end-to-end technical oversight for equipment configurations, IP assignments, and transport design. The engineer will work with Samsung and Nokia platforms, leveraging vendor tools like Nokia Service Portal to generate configuration files and support network activations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and generate router configurations for Dark Fiber, LIT-Eline, and third-party fiber circuits.
- Create and manage LS3/LS6 router configs, Conquest IP assignments, and CBand bandwidth upgrade configurations.
- Maintain and update Granite and Fuze SPM systems to ensure visibility across transport teams.
- Provide technical support and project management for DWDM and SONET optical transport systems.
- Collaborate with Network Planning and cross-functional teams to meet strategic growth demands.
- Document transport equipment and design paths in engineering databases.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with Granite/CND database.
- Familiarity with Samsung and Nokia Transport/RAN equipment.
- Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical degree preferred.
- Experience with CWDM/DWDM systems (Ciena, Alcatel-Lucent).
- Knowledge of dark fiber vendor processes and network maps.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Project tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
