Network Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Network Engineer in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:
* Provide hardware/software support
* Maintain uptime for network systems, servers, LAN/WAN, and related equipment
* Manage Microsoft Teams phone system and FSLogix VDI profiles
* Assist with Windows Domain Controller tasks (DHCP, DNS) and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, and servers
* Track and resolve requests via Service Desk; Apply patches and coordinate vendor support
* Support Citrix Virtual Desktop, EMC SAN environment, and Windows File Server
* Maintain Barracuda Email Filter and ServiceDesk (BMC Track-It)
* Contribute to IT projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
* 3-5 years of relevant professional IT experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and Windows Desktop operating systems
* Experience with personal computers, server hardware, and associated peripherals
* Knowledge of managing and maintaining AWS instances and Hyper-V 3.0 environments
* Knowledge of Backup and BackupExec systems

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
