We are looking for a Sr. Business Analyst with at least 7+ years of IT experience.

- Experience developing functional and technical specifications
- Agile experience - writing user stories in Jira
- Any experience with AI related project is a big plus, not required.

Job Summary:

Need a Sr. IT BA to join our team in the early stage of new project to add in AI capabilities to regulatory/audit function for a work management system for nuclear operations. Will focus on pre-work then move into requirements gathering, business process & workflows, working with development team and then testing and training.

Nuclear 810 Compliance: /Permanent resident only, have to clear Nuclear 810 background checks

** This is not a remote position. Candidates must be in Jupiter West office every work day.

Needs to be experienced with writing business requirements, creating processing flows, and executing test cases.

The Senior IT Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying requirements, and proposing software solutions to optimize business processes in nuclear energy management. The analyst will be experienced in nuclear energy management software systems and will work closely with the nuclear IT team to ensure that business processes are optimized for improved efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities:
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
Identify and implement software solutions that support business processes
Develop detailed functional and technical specifications for software solutions
Act as a subject matter expert for nuclear energy management software systems
Conduct system testing and facilitate user acceptance testing
Identify risks and issues related to software systems and coordinate resolution
Provide training and support to end-users
Collaborate with other IT departments to ensure integration and alignment of business systems

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related field
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a business analyst role
Strong knowledge and experience with nuclear energy management software systems
Experience developing functional and technical specifications
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work as part of a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
