Job Responsibilities:
This position will serve as the Senior Product Owner for the Strategic Partner Integration team. Core responsibilities include the following:
Define and communicate a strategic vision for B2B Supply Chain Integration initiatives-covering customers, vendors, carriers, and other partners-ensuring alignment with both business objectives and partner needs.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and strategic partners to elicit, document, and prioritize integration requirements, translating business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Own and maintain a prioritized product backlog of integration enhancements and support tasks, incorporating both new development and post-production support initiatives.
Work closely with Developers, Analysts, the Delivery Team Manager, and business stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to product development and the delivery of high-quality integration solutions.
Serve as the primary liaison with strategic partners across the Supply Chain, facilitating clear and ongoing communication to ensure integration solutions meet or exceed partner expectations.
Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities and potential risks in the B2B integration space, incorporating insights into the product strategy.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) to ensure timely delivery of integration projects and continuous improvement of processes.
Serve as a subject matter expert on B2B integration and supply chain ecosystems, providing guidance, mentoring team members, and fostering a culture of innovation within the Strategic Partner Integration team.
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for integration projects, analyzing outcomes to drive ongoing enhancements and best practices across the team.
Proactively identify potential risks and dependencies related to integration initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop mitigation strategies and resolve issues promptly.
- Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
- 7+ years in Information Technology related field
- 5+ years of experience in product management or product ownership, ideally with exposure to B2B integration or supply chain environments.
- Demonstrated experience with Agile practices, including backlog management and participation in Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
- Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with both technical teams and external partners.
- Goal and outcome oriented with excellent work ethic, self-motivation, and demonstrable experience motivating others
- Familiarity with integration technologies and standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience working within supply chain or order fulfillment processes
- Hands on technical experience or ability to relate to technical topics and participate in conversations about architecture and development
- Familiarity with incident and support systems (e.g., ServiceNow) to manage post-production support effectively.
- Experience with integration technologies and standards (EDI, JSON, Flat Files, cXML) as well as understanding of backend systems such as Oracle EBS and middleware like WebMethods.
- Ability to quickly learn and understand the usage of new technologies, frameworks, and tools
