Revenue Cycle Director (Healthcare | Medi-Cal Focus)

$150,000–$190,000 annually | Contract-to-Hire
Vaco is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Director to lead and stabilize revenue cycle operations! This role focuses on compliance with Medi-Cal billing requirements, while providing oversight of billing, claims, denials, and collections.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee provider revenue cycle operations, including billing, claims, denials, and collections

Ensure compliance with Medi-Cal billing and payer requirements

Drive operational performance and process improvements

Mentor and develop team members in billing and collections functions

Partner with clinical and financial leadership to ensure revenue integrity
Must-Have Qualifications

3+ years of provider revenue cycle management experience

Strong expertise in Medi-Cal billing and compliance

Proven leadership and team management skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have

Epic Professional Billing (PB) experience

Experience in pediatric or orthopedic care settings

Background in process improvement and operational efficiency
