Position: Financial Business Analyst
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid 2 3 days onsite per week)
Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly experienced Senior Financial Business Analyst to partner with business stakeholders, technology teams, and operations to define, analyze , and deliver financial solutions aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in financial services or banking, excellent analytical and documentation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across both technical and business teams.

The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in financial services or banking, excellent analytical and documentation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across both technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for financial systems, applications, and reporting tools.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, process flows, and use cases for development and QA teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, enhance, and optimize financial systems (ERP, core banking, accounting, and risk platforms).
- Perform data analysis, reconciliation, and validation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and transactions.
- Work closely with project managers, developers, and QA analysts to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solutions.
- Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by developing test scenarios, reviewing results, and validating outcomes against requirements.
- Lead discussions and workshops to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend automation or efficiency solutions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal governance policies.
- Communicate complex technical and financial information clearly to executive and non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the financial domain.
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field (Master s preferred).
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in financial services, banking, or capital markets.
- Strong understanding of financial products, accounting processes, reporting, and regulatory frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with requirements gathering, documentation, process mapping, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills able to translate complex topics for diverse audiences.
