Leidos' Defense Systems RF Systems UAS Portfolio is seeking a Software Developer UAS-C2 to join our team supporting the development of software tools for Army UAS' interoperability test and integration. Our group has supported interoperability testing, and technology evaluation and insertion to emerging UAS technologies for the Army's UAS systems, as well as Joint service platforms.

Primary Responsibilities.
- Collaborate with Uncrewed Aviation Systems (UAS) groups in the integration and test of UAS systems per established requirements.
- Collaborate with the software team on the design and implementation of test tools supporting the testing of established command and control requirements.
Basic Qualifications.
- BS in computer science, software engineering or a related STEM field from an accredited institution with four to eight years of applicable experience or MS in computer science, software engineering or a related STEM field from an accredited institution with 2-6 years of applicable experience. In lieu of degree minimum of ten years of recent relevant experience.
- Must have demonstrated knowledge of Java in non-trivial applications.
- Possess a basic understanding of network protocols, concurrency control, and asynchronous communications.
- Must be a resident of Huntsville, AL or willing to relocate to the Huntsville, AL area.
Preferred Qualifications.
- Direct support of UAS system testing.
- Familiarity with command-and-control standards and protocols (i.e. STANAG 4586, Mavlink, etc.)
- Familiarity with model-drive software development.
- Familiarity with developing and/or integrating distributed system software components.
