Application Developer, Full Stack .Net (Remote)

We have an immediate need for a direct hire Application Developer, Full Stack .Net to join a specialty insurance company. The Application Developer is responsible for building the organization s unique insurance platforms based on requirements and design patterns established by the IT team. This role will ensure that the technical design implemented is consistent with architectural design and industry best practices while building a solution that is scalable and efficient.

Location: Remote. Working Central Time Zone hours preferred.

This job expects to pay around $130,000 140,000 annually plus benefits.

What You Will Do:


  • Develop new applications following established design standards ensuring technology is scalable, fit for purpose and can be delivered leveraging a reliable sustainable, cost effective and secure approach.
  • Interpret new business requirements and develop custom application logic / APIs solutions to address these requirements.
  • Participate in regular code reviews of upcoming releases. Provide feedback and direction on code remediation.
  • Ensure hosting and DevOps related processes and best practices are in place and being followed.
  • Implement appropriate solutions for application / business logic as well as front-end UX / design.

What Gets You The Job:


  • 5+ years of experience in web application design.
  • At least 5 years of experience with .NET / C#
  • Experience with incorporating object-oriented design patterns into software development practices.
  • Working knowledge of secure coding practices / code scanning and security remediation techniques.
  • Working knowledge of DevOps processes and best practices
  • Experience developing within cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks like NUnit or XUnit.
  • Experience with Blazor
  • UI / UX expertise
  • DevOps experience
