Job Title: Integration Business Analyst EDI & WMS

Location: Remote USA



Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Integration Business Analyst with strong expertise in

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and Warehouse Management System (WMS)

transaction mapping. The ideal candidate will work with internal teams, external trading

partners, and third-party logistics providers to analyze, document, and implement EDI

integration solutions involving key WMS transactions such as 940 (Warehouse Shipping

Order), 945 (Warehouse Shipping Advice), 943 (Warehouse Stock Transfer Shipment

Advice), 944 (Warehouse Stock Transfer Receipt Advice) and others.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather and analyze business requirements for EDI integrations related to

warehouse and logistics processes.

Map and configure EDI transactions (940, 945, 943, 944, 856, 997, etc.) for WMS

systems and trading partners.

Create functional specifications for EDI data mapping and transformations using

tools such as Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar.

Collaborate with developers, EDI specialists, and logistics partners to ensure

seamless system integration and data flow.

Coordinate and conduct testing, troubleshooting, and validation of inbound and

outbound EDI messages.

Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, logistics teams, and IT to ensure

accurate understanding and execution of integration requirements.

Document process flows, data mappings, use cases, and integration scenarios.

Monitor ongoing EDI transaction flows and proactively resolve issues.

Support go-lives and post-implementation activities including error resolution and

partner onboarding.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in EDI and WMS environments.

Strong understanding of X12 EDI standards, specifically 940, 945, 943, 944, 856,

and 997 transaction sets.

Experience with WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan, SAP EWM, Blue Yonder, Oracle

WMS).

Proficient in documenting data mapping specifications and integration workflows.

Solid understanding of supply chain, logistics, and warehouse operations.

Experience working with integration tools (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft).

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in retail, distribution, or 3PL environments.

Familiarity with API-based integrations in addition to EDI.

Understanding of ASN, inventory management, and shipping workflows.

Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
