Job Details

Compucom Systems, Inc. provides end-to-end IT managed services to enable the digital workplace for enterprise, midsize and small businesses. We're looking for a Desktop Tech to join our team.
  • Provide hands-on support for operating systems, endpoint security, software distribution, and hardware management. Utilize monitoring tools to proactively maintain the health of IT systems in lab and remote environments.
  • Respond to escalated incidents that require physical presence. Travel to hub and remote sites to resolve IT, network, or device issues that cannot be addressed remotely.
  • Execute installation and configuration tasks following established procedures and checklists. Contribute to documentation and process improvement.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, and changes using ServiceNow. Maintain accurate records of IT assets and activities in compliance with ITIL practices.
  • Participate in team, individual, and collaborative projects involving IT infrastructure, lab environments, and warehousing systems.
  • Deliver flexible, skill-based support for undocumented or evolving IT needs, leveraging technical expertise and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Minimum 5 years of IT support experience
  • Proficiency in supporting Windows, Linux, networking, telecom, lab equipment, and process control domains
  • Experience working in an ITIL-based environment
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to interact with users and management face-to-face
  • Certifications in ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft, or Linux
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
