Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Test Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies encompassing functional, integration, regression, and API testing aligned with project requirements and risk profiles.
- Define test scope, objectives, resource allocation, timelines, and deliverables to ensure thorough coverage and quality assurance.
- Establish, enforce, and continuously improve testing standards, methodologies, and best practices, including AI-powered test automation frameworks.
Test Execution & Automation
- Lead the design, development, and execution of automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Robotic Python Framework, Cypress, and AI-based automation platforms.
- Conduct rigorous regression, progression, and end-to-end testing to validate system stability and performance pre-release.
- Perform API testing leveraging Postman, REST Assured, and SoapUI to ensure backend service reliability.
- Manage defect lifecycle comprehensively from identification through resolution, maintaining transparent communication with stakeholders.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and guide testing teams fostering a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with development, product management, and business stakeholders to align testing efforts with business objectives and project milestones.
- Facilitate defect triage, test reviews, and lessons learned sessions to optimize testing processes and outcomes.
- Communicate technical and risk-related information effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
Test Transformation & Tool Management
- Drive initiatives to enhance testing efficiency, including the adoption of modern test management and CI/CD tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, Jenkins, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
- Lead the evaluation and integration of emerging testing technologies, including AI tools for test automation and performance testing frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Technical Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- Extensive experience (5-7+ years) in software quality assurance, test automation, and systems engineering within Agile, Scrum, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environments.
- Proficient with test automation frameworks and languages including Selenium, Robotic Python Framework, Java, JavaScript (React), Python, and PowerShell.
- Strong hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI) and performance/security testing tools (JMeter).
- Skilled in test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, Zephyr, and TestRail.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools including Jenkins, Git/GitHub, Maven, and Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, containerization (Docker, JFrog), and infrastructure automation.
- Experience leveraging AI-driven tools (e.g., AITap) for automating end-to-end testing workflows.
- Understanding of systems engineering principles including hardware/software integration, system architecture, scalability, and network protocols (TLS, OpenSSL, REST).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Certifications in ServiceNow Administration, ATF, or related fields are advantageous.
