Description

Under the completion-based Operations Task Order, you will bring consistency to AEA's operations support and security posture, allowing analysts to navigate the vast ecosystem of analytic capability to accomplish mission. AEA Operations provides support across AEA and partners with the IC community when tools support users outside NSA. The AEA Operations and AEA ISSO teams are ultimately responsible for the STE/STN compliance of their supported systems and will execute and implement solutions to ensure all supported tools remain compliant with STE/STN requirements as they evolve over time.

The Splunk Engineer will use Splunk software (version 8.5 running on MASH) in his/her everyday job for searching, monitoring, and analyzing machine-generated data. Splunk is being used for metrics, diagnosing problems, and pulling data from repositories on our servers from tools such as CASPORT, LATTEART, JIRA, and CONFLUENCE. This data is being assembled into dashboards.

Responsibilities include:
  • IAVA support
  • API Data Calls
  • Pulling Logs for Servers
  • Administer Splunk Clusters
  • Upgrade the Tool When Required
  • Creating Dashboards and Briefing Material using Splunk Data

Qualifications

Required:
  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university and 14 years of related experience or 19 years of related experience with a High School Diploma

Desired:
  • Scripting Experience (python etc.); pulling data from tools via RestAPI
