Job Details

This hybrid role in Kennesaw offers the opportunity to architect, implement, and maintain critical systems that directly support core business functions. You'll take ownership of infrastructure spanning on-premises and cloud environments, with a strong focus on virtualization, automation, and performance optimization. If you're looking for a position that blends technical depth with cross-functional leadership and real impact, this role delivers.

Expect hands-on involvement with technologies like VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, AWS, and a mix of Dell, HP, Pure, and NetApp systems. You'll also contribute to infrastructure design, enforce security standards, and drive operational excellence through scripting and automation.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience supporting large-scale IT systems or data center environments
  • Deep knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V), and public cloud services (AWS and/or Azure)
  • Familiarity with security best practices, backup strategies, and compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and SOC
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) to drive automation and reduce downtime
  • Experience integrating hybrid cloud environments and automating infrastructure deployments
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, OSI model, and infrastructure monitoring solutions
