Description: Cybersecurity Analyst - Network Security Focus

Overview:

Join a forward-thinking Technology Risk team that is redefining how cybersecurity integrates with business and technology. In this role, you'll focus on network security architecture and infrastructure risk, working closely with internal technology teams to ensure secure design and implementation of on-premises systems and services.

This is an ideal opportunity for early-career professionals with strong technical foundations in networking and cybersecurity who are looking to grow in a collaborative, high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with application and infrastructure teams to assess and enhance network security posture across on-premises environments.
  • Conduct risk assessments with a focus on network segregation, infrastructure management, and data protection.
  • Provide internal consulting on network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, etc.), firewall configurations, and segmentation strategies.
  • Support secure implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and containerized environments (e.g., Kubernetes), with a focus on network-layer controls.
  • Collaborate on the development and enforcement of security templates, modules, and standards.
  • Assist in the evaluation and integration of tools such as Splunk, QRadar, and other monitoring platforms to support network visibility and threat detection.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong emphasis on network security.
  • Solid understanding of network architecture, TCP/IP stack, and infrastructure protocols.
  • Familiarity with RHEL, Cisco technologies, and Kali Linux (for internal testing and validation).
  • Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical risks into business-relevant language.
Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Industry certifications (e.g., Network+, Security+, CCNA Security) are a plus.
What We're Looking For:

We're seeking technically curious professionals who are passionate about network security and risk management. This role is best suited for analyst-level candidates who are eager to grow and contribute to a team that values both technical depth and strong interpersonal skills.
