Project Manager

DataStaff, Inc is in need of a Project Manager for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients located in Richmond, VA
*This position is onsite Our client is looking for a Project Manager with 10+ years of experience in the field, with specific experience with server migration to cloud hosting.
Responsibilities:

• Managing the project scope, schedule and budget and reporting to IT management on a weekly basis or as agreed upon.
• Assist the IT Division staff in responding to VITA and migration partner queries, coordinating tasks, and ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and meet key deadlines.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Must be experienced or be familiar with network infrastructure and application servers.
• Experience with Oracle and Websphere servers is a plus.
• Must possess strong technical, analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Will be expected to successfully coordinate between VITA partners, IT Division and end-users.
• Should be flexible in managing/coping with change in direction and priorities.

Required Skills:

• 7 Years - Review, analyze and evaluate user/system needs
• 10 Years - Project management experience with a PMP Certification.
• 5 Years - Proficient with Microsoft Word and XL
• 10 Years - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects lasting 6 to 12 months, with teams of 3 to 4 people.
• 7 Years - Process optimization, best practices, change management, facilitation and internal/external consulting is highly preferred.
• 7 Years - Should have excellent interpersonal, oral/written communication and presentation skills.
• 7 Years - Extensive knowledge of applications development
