RFP Business Analyst

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an Business Analyst focusing on RFP management for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Sports and Entertainment clients . We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to manage RFP processes and collaborate with stakeholders and vendors. This individual will define requirements, facilitate vendor interactions, and work closely with and support our IT procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of technology and a passion for stakeholder engagement. They must possess strong critical thinking skills, be adaptable, flexible, proactive, and able to communicate effectively at all organizational levels while taking ownership of their responsibilities.

Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document RFP requirements.
• Schedule and conduct demos with potential vendors, ensuring alignment with project needs.
• Analyze vendor feedback and present findings in a clear and meaningful manner
• Operate across a variety of business functions.
• Lead, participate, and work closely with the IT procurement team throughout the RFP process, ensuring timely progress and adherence to project timelines
• Own the RFP process, end to end, including writing
• Evaluate existing business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and supporting the developing & implementing of solutions.
• Experience and level of ease communicating to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes related to stakeholder engagement and RFP management
• Experience using standard BA tools & technologies including Microsoft Office, Visio, and DevOps

• Ability to effectively present information verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently.
• Excellent people skills and a professional demeanor; ability to work effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders including vendors.
• 3 years minimum business analysis experience in an IT environment (must)
• Prior experience and knowledge in Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Business Analysis, or equivalent work experience
