Position: Functional Lead
Location: Schaumburg, IL
Duration: 12 Months
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project sponsors to understand information flow and content needs; facilitate requirement gathering sessions.
- Document functional and non-functional requirements, including detailed user stories.
- Apply knowledge of Commercial Underwriting principles and procedures to support business objectives.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets using appropriate software tools and techniques.
- Lead resolution efforts for complex issues, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.
- Demonstrate accountability by consistently honoring commitments and taking ownership of deliverables.
- Foster collaboration across diverse teams, stakeholders, and customers.
- Adapt to evolving business environments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise presentations to stakeholders.
- Maintain organized documentation and communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business analysis, preferably within underwriting or insurance domains.
- Strong understanding of underwriting management systems and workflows.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Strong presentation skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
