Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provision and configure VPC environments and Google Cloud Platform instances using IaC tools such as Terraform.
  • Collaborate with the Cloud Architect and NetSecOps team to define and implement security controls and network policies.
  • Manage Google Cloud Platform IAM configurations (users, orgs, groups, access).
  • Create dashboards, monitoring, and reporting tools for cloud operations.
  • Document and enforce SOPs for consumption of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Act as the Tier-2 escalation point for production support issues.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours production support.
  • Evaluate and recommend adoption of new Google Cloud Platform capabilities.
  • Promote and socialize cloud capabilities to increase adoption.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to meet technical and business goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of infrastructure development experience including Google Cloud Platform core services (compute, network, storage, etc.).
  • 5+ years of Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform or equivalent).
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and large-scale infrastructure deployments.
  • Google Cloud Foundational Certification (Associate Cloud Engineer or similar).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Certification.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps.
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native security, containerization, and automation technologies.
